Prior to that, he co-starred with Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz at the Imperial Theatre. He starred as Jerry in London's West End premiere of The Full Monty at the Prince of Whales Theatre, directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell. He was Brad in the revival of The Rocky Horror Show - Live! at the Circle In the Square Theatre, directed by Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell. He won the Tony, Drama-Desk and Theatre World Awards for his portrayal of slugger Joe Hardy in the 1994 revival of Damn Yankees, also Directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Rob Marshall. Chris in Miss Saigon at the Broadway Theatre as well as opening the 1st Nat'l Tour of Miss Saigon in Chicago, both directed by Nick Hytner and choreographed by Bob Avian. He also was featured as the student leader Enjolras in the 3rd Nat'l Tour of Les Misérables. Other favorites regionally include F. The title role in Sweeney Todd at the Capital Playhouse (Olympia,WA), Directed by Jeff Kingsbury. Peter in Drift with Christian Campbell. A new musical by Jeremy Schonefeld Directed by Jeremy Dobrish. Most recently, the title role in Hank Williams: Lost Highway at Virginia Stage Company Norfolk, VA. Directed by Edward Morgan. He starred as Josiah Day in the TNT mini-series "Andersonville" Directed by the late and most definitely great John Frankenheimer. He starred with Christine Elise in "LA Firefighters" for FOX and also for FOX, "Pacific Palisades" for the equally great and terribly missed Aaron Spelling. He also starred in "It's True!" for CBS. John Weidman (Author) received a Tony® nomination for Best Book for the original production of Pacific Overtures. He wrote the book for Assassins (2004 Tony Award®, Best Musical Revival), score by Stephen Sondheim, and the book for Big (Tony® nomination, Best Book), score by Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire. Weidman co-authored, with Timothy Crouse, the new book for Lincoln Center Theater's revival of Cole Porter's Anything Goes (Tony Award®, Best Musical Revival; Olivier Award, Best Musical Production). He co-created Contact (Tony® nomination, Best Book; Tony Award®, Best Musical) with choreographer/director Susan Stroman, and is currently completing the screen adaptation for Miramax. Susan Stroman (Original Direction and Choreography) Ms. Stroman directed and choreographed The Producers, winner of a record-making 12 Tony Awards including Best Direction and Best Choreography. She co-created, directed and choreographed the groundbreaking musical Contact for Lincoln Center Theater, winning the 2000 Tony Award for Best Choreography, as well as Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel Awards and a 2003 Emmy Award for "Live at Lincoln Center." Other Broadway credits include The Frogs, Oklahoma! (Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Olivier Awards), Thou Shalt Not, The Music Man (Outer Critics Circle Award), Steel Pier, Big, Show Boat (Tony, Outer Critics Circle Awards), Picnic and Crazy for You (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Olivier Awards). Andrew David Ostrowski (Lighting Designer) With NSMT: Forever Plaid. Elsewhere: Andy is pleased to be back at North Shore designing this production. Last season he designed the critically acclaimed production of Forever Plaid. Recent designs include King Lear starring Dakin Mathews for PICT, two world premiere musicals, Streets of America by Michael Rupert and Marcus Steven's Eastburn Avenue. He also recreated his work on Keith Reddin's The Missionary Position for Merrimack Repertory Theater. Andy will be going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival soon with PNME. Andy was the lighting director for an international tour of Gershwin's opera Porgy and Bess which played all over Western Europe. His design for a PICT production of Faith Healer toured 15 cities in Ireland. September of 2005 he designed a production of Born Yesterday in Vasteras, Sweden. He has designed productions for Club Med in the Dominican Republic and the Spoleto Festival USA. He has designed for Virginia Stage, Arden Theater, Dallas Summer Musicals, Atlanta's Theater of the Stars, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance, as well as, others. John A. Stone (Sound Designer) With NSMT: The Producers, The 1997-2007 Shakespeare productions and musical seasons, A Grand Night for Singing, Co-designed A Midsummer Night's Dream (1996).
