Teacher: James Turner

DANCE CLASSES ($120 each)
All ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre classes will begin with a warm up which will focus on technique, stretching, and/or conditioning. Ballet classes will always begin at the barre. Following the warm up, all classes will them move to across the floor exercises and end with a combination. Beginner classes do not require any prior experience; however, our teachers are skilled at differentiating their instruction to offer options for making classes more basic or challenging to meet individual students' skill levels.
Cardio dance does not require any previous dance experience. In this class, it doesn't matter what you look like while you dance, it just matters that you keep moving! Through a series of easy to follow repetitive movements, you'll keep your heart rate up while grooving to upbeat music. Have so much fun that you'll hardly notice you're working out!

At NSMT, we believe that a modern day actor should have a toolbox filled with true and steadfast techniques and methods used on the stage. Our conservatory style program concentrates on providing students the necessary tools to become a triple threat and well-rounded actor/actress. Students will hone their skills in acting, singing and dancing, while engaging with their peers, building on the areas critical to their development such as: critical thinking, collaboration, public speaking, time management and social development. We also believe that theatre should be accessible to any student who chooses to participate and encourage them to begin their artistic journey, regardless of their level of experience.
