Beginner Tap [REGISTER ONLINE]
Mondays, 7:30pm to 8:30pm or Wednesdays, 8:30pm to 9:30pm
Dust off those taps shoes and join us for a fun, immersive class where you can let loose and tap your cares away! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this class is a great way to get your feet moving. This course will teach you all you need to know about tap, working on the basics up to advanced beginner combinations.

This class is for students who have taken our beginner tap class (or have relevant experience) and are looking for a bit more challenge in tap. This course will dive deeper into tap techniques and intermediate combinations.
The Fundamentals of Stage Acting for Adults [REGISTER ONLINE]
Mondays, 7:30pm to 9:30pm
All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. In this class, students will learn the essential techniques needed to be a dynamic actor. This class is perfect for the beginner or those looking to freshen up their actor’s toolbox, rekindle their love for the stage or gain more confidence in their public speaking abilities. Students will have fun exploring acting techniques through games, improv, and monologues.
Intermediate Stage Acting for Adults [REGISTER ONLINE]
Wednesdays, 7:30pm to 9:30pm
You have the fundamentals, now take it further! This class will focus on expanding upon the fundamentals of stage acting techniques. Using various advanced techniques, students will gain the necessary tools to bring their acting to the next level, through character building exercises, scene work and script analysis.

At NSMT, we believe that a modern day actor should have a toolbox filled with true and steadfast techniques and methods used on the stage. Our conservatory style program concentrates on providing students the necessary tools to become a triple threat and well-rounded actor/actress. Students will hone their skills in acting, singing and dancing, while engaging with their peers, building on the areas critical to their development such as: critical thinking, collaboration, public speaking, time management and social development. We also believe that theatre should be accessible to any student who chooses to participate and encourage them to begin their artistic journey, regardless of their level of experience.
