Are you interested in attending local auditions at North Shore Music Theatre and other professional theatres in the area? The Sound of Music choreographer, Briana Fallon, will break down everything you need to know to nail a local professional audition. Topics covered will include resume writing, song selection and preparation, acing the dance call and more.
We know that the dance portion of auditions is often the most stressful because you cannot prepare the combination in advance. Attendees of this workshop will have the unique experience of learning a sample dance combo at the same pace and difficulty of the combo Briana will teach at The Sound of Music auditions.
Briana and other members of the NSMT staff will spend time answering questions to guide actors through the audition process. Whether this is your first professional audition or your 50th, we hope to make you feel prepared when it’s your turn to showcase your talents for the casting team!
A note on casting: Children of all backgrounds are highly encouraged to attend. Roles in NSMT productions are open to all actors regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, education or disability.
⭐️ Participation in this audition workshop is not required for those wishing to audition for upcoming shows at North Shore Music Theatre, nor is participation in this workshop a guarantee of casting in any upcoming production at North Shore Music Theatre.
