COVID-19 Public Health Update
The health and safety of our patrons, staff, and artists are always top priority at NSMT.
In response to ongoing developments, and in an effort to preserve the health and safety of our valued patrons, employees, and artists, we have made the decision to postpone our pre-season spring lineup including concerts, kids shows, and special events. We want you all to know that while this was an emotional decision for our team to make—as we try our very best to never postpone programming—we feel it’s important to aid in the containment of COVID-19.
Our team has been closely monitoring this situation, and in communication with local and state authorities as we work together to devise a plan to tackle this momentary pause of arts and culture. We are confident that by promoting positive and effective social distancing now, throughout our local communities, we will be able to reduce the spread of this virus and begin the necessary work to return stronger than ever for our musical season in May.
Ticket holders for upcoming spring performances will receive an immediate refund—this may take 3–10 business days to show up on your end depending on your bank, but please know it has been processed in our system:
We are working to finalize a postponement schedule. At this time FROG & TOAD and SHAKESPEARE will be revisited in 2021. All other postponements will be announced soon, and we ask for your patience during this time. Patrons will be notified once future dates are finalized. MAMMA MIA is scheduled to proceed as planned. Should changes arise, patrons will be notified.
A HOPEFUL TOMORROW
While this is a particularly difficult time for us and all our theatre colleagues across the country, it is our hope that by taking preventative measures today, we can ensure the safety and wellbeing of all in the future. At this time, we would like to thank our staff for their diligent efforts to ensure this historic theatre remains alive and well in Beverly for years to come.
Please continue to enjoy all that the North Shore has to offer. We encourage you to purchase takeout from our local eateries, secure gift cards to shops and cafes, and help out others who may be unable to leave their homes. Together we can ensure a safer tomorrow.
We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
