Dear NSMT Friends, We want to start by saying “Thank You!” for holding steady with us thru this global COVID-19 pandemic. With every day that passes, we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. As the vaccination plan continues on schedule and numbers continue to trend in the right direction, restrictions on gathering and performances are slowly being loosened and lifted. With the current COVID restrictions, we are unable to open the season in June as planned. Please keep in mind that we create all of our shows specifically for our audiences, so to get from casting to opening night we need a few months of lead time. Airing on the side of caution, and for the safety of our audiences, guest artists, and staff, we have decided to flip the planned 2021 subscription season to 2022. However, we are very optimistic we will be able to welcome you back to the North Shore Music Theatre for shows this October with the encore performance of Mamma Mia! followed by the 30th Annual production of A Christmas Carol. THE 2021/2022 MAIN STAGE SHOW SCHEDULE*: 2021 MUSICALS

We stand in solidarity with our Black employees, fellow theatre creators, performers, musicians, crew, audience members, and all those in the Black community. We stand against racism. We stand against discrimination in all forms. We see you, we hear you. We are listening. We know we’re not perfect. We know we have not always been vocal when we should have. For that, we are truly sorry.
Actions will always speak louder than words. We must now collectively take it upon ourselves as an organization and individual citizens to do the work—to donate, to research, to self-educate, to train staff, to protect employees/guests, to stand against hate, to stand against racism at all touchpoints. We know we have a long way to go to shape the future we wish to see in life, on stage, and behind the scenes. We must never again fall silent. We must work together to speak out, now and forever, until #BlackLivesMatter is more than just a movement, but the tangible reality of true justice for all. - BILL HANNEY | NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATRE | THEATRE BY THE SEA | CAPE LIVE! -
