Kevin P Hill, Director/Choreographer Milton Granger, Music Director First rehearsal: November 18 Opens: December 5 Closes: December 22 Saturday, September 7 ADULT ENSEMBLE 9:30 am Sign-in 10:00 am Audition begins NOTE: Ensemble auditions will begin with a brief movement call. Everyone must be signed in by 10:00 am. Only those kept after the movement portion will be asked to stay to sing and/or read. SEEKING excellent NON-UNION actors who sing and dance/move well for the Ensemble and to understudy Principals. There are no Ensemble contracts available for AEA actors. PREPARE a brief, 16-32 bar selection of your choice. Please, no pop/contemporary. Bring a current headshot/resume and your book/sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Sides to read will be provided in the room. Actors must be available for all rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are typically Tuesday - Sunday, 11am - 7pm. Morning, afternoon, and evening performances are scheduled. We are not able to approve rehearsal or performance conflicts for Adult Actors. YOUTH PERFORMERS 11:00 am Sign-in 11:30 am Audition begins Please allow approximately 2 hours of time if asked to stay and read for the team. SEEKING Youth Performers for the following roles: MARTHA CRATCHIT Female, 16. Oldest of the Cratchit daughters. PETER CRATCHIT Male, 12. A kind, serious boy, devoted to his brother and sisters. BELINDA CRATCHIT Female, 9. Second of the Cratchit daughters and a happy lass. TINY TIM CRATCHIT Character is Male, 7. Thoughtful and brave with his little crutch and his godly heart. Due to choreography & staging, the performer portraying Tiny Tim must be under 50 lbs. LONDON CHILDREN Any gender, 10-13. Rambunctious street urchins. BOY SCROOGE Male, 8-12. A sad boy, rejected by his Father and sent far away to school. FAN Female, 8-12. Scrooge’s sister, brimful of glee. PREPARE a brief, 16-32 bar selection of your choice. Please, no pop/contemporary. Rehearsals for Youth Performers are typically Tuesday - Sunday, 3pm - 7pm. Some performances are scheduled during school hours. If cast, Youth performers must receive permission from their school administration to participate. Youth performer roles are double-cast, Performances are shared between Actors cast in each role.
