Instructor: Brett Bovio Wednesdays, 7pm - 9pm Cost: $250 per session (8 classes) This class is dedicated to helping students master short-form improv with the ultimate goal of one day performing live on stage. We’ll focus on essential improv skills like "Yes, And," projecting, cheating forward, teamwork, call backs, and making each other look awesome. Through a series of exercises, students will sharpen their ability to stay present, think fast on their feet, and collaborate seamlessly with others. |

At NSMT, we believe a modern day actor should have a toolbox filled with true and steadfast techniques and methods used on the stage. Our conservatory style program concentrates on providing students the necessary tools to become a triple threat and well-rounded actor/actress. Students will hone their skills in acting, singing and dancing, while engaging with their peers, building on the areas critical to their development such as: critical thinking, collaboration, public speaking, time management and social development. We also believe that theatre should be accessible to any student who chooses to participate and encourage them to begin their artistic journey, regardless of their level of experience.
