North Shore Music Theatre offers various casting opportunities for Equity and Non-Equity actors. Current casting notices will be posted below as they are made available.
Audition Notices are also posted on Playbill.com two weeks prior to the auditions. These notices contain the name and address of the audition location, audition times, the roles available, what we are looking for, and requested audition material. NSMT does not accept any submissions or casting correspondence via phone or direct mail; and cannot review submissions outside of posted auditions. All inquiries and agent submissions may be sent to casting@nsmt.org Do you accept video submissions?
Video submissions are accepted, for Principal roles, for Actors unable to attend our live auditions. Actors should prepare the sides provided on the Show Info page at the link above. Due to the number of Actors we see in person, Ensemble submissions are generally not accepted. Do you accept submissions on a rolling basis? Due to the schedule of our season and the volume of submissions, we cannot accept nor review submissions outside of the posted auditions. When will you be holding auditions next? Typically, season EPAs are scheduled in the early Spring preceding the season. TYA auditions are held in February. In addition to EPAs, individual shows will have auditions throughout the season, beginning in the Spring and running through late Summer. Will you be seeing Non-Equity performers at your auditions? Non-Equity performers may be seen in both Beverly and New York, as space and time permits. For Beverly EPAs, non-equity performers will be seen once Equity performers have been seen. For New York EPAs, non-equity performers should show up to the posted audition and will be signed up for a slot if space is available. Please do not email in advance. |
