BRANDI CHAVONNE MASSEY (Becky) is a dynamic Broadway and international performer whose powerful vocals and commanding presence have captivated audiences worldwide. Her Broadway credits include Disney’s The Lion King, Wicked, Caroline, or Change, Jekyll & Hyde, and The Color Purple. She starred in London’s West End production of Disney’s The Lion King and toured nationally with The Color Purple. Favorite regional roles include Lorrell in Dreamgirls (with Jennifer Holliday), Asaka in Once on This Island (directed by George Faison), Medda in Disney’s Newsies and Nell in Ain’t Misbehavin. MAGGIE ELIZABETH MAY - she/her - (Dawn). NSMT debut! Maggie made her West End debut with the original cast of Sister Act at the London Palladium, understudying and playing the role of Sister Mary Robert, alongside Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Superior. Maggie was one of ten actors chosen to workshop Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Wizard of Oz, starring Michael Crawford, before it premiered on the West End, where she alternated her time between Munchkinland and flying around Oz as Glinda. She was last seen in Massachusetts in the North American tour of Les Misérables (u/s Madame Thénardier). Proud graduate of The Royal Academy of Music in London. BRANDON KALM - he/him - (Dr. Pomatter) is honored to be making his NSMT debut! A Texas native, he has lived and worked professionally in New York for the past 15 years. Broadway credits include American Psycho, Waitress, and Swept Away. Regional work includes shows at the Berkeley Rep and Arena Stage. Brandon also toured with the International/National company of Green Day’s American Idiot. On screen, he’s appeared in “Z: The Beginning of Everything” and “The Blacklist”. He holds a BFA in Musical Theater from PACE University and continued his training with Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio. DANIELA SOLEIL DURBIN (Young Jenna/Lulu) is thrilled to reprise her role as Lulu in the NSMT’s 2025 production of Waitress. She appeared as Lulu in the Ogunquit Playhouse’s production of Waitress in 2024. Daniela is a precocious, energetic, fun-loving 5-year-old from Portsmouth, NH. Daniela has taken ballet and dance classes at the Portsmouth School of Ballet since she was 2 years old. She is currently a Kindergarten student at Brixham Montessori Friends School in York, ME. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two sisters, Catalina and Dahlia, skiing, riding her bike and scooter, watching “Vampirina”, and playing pretend games.

MACKENZIE EGAN DeRIGGI (Young Jenna/Lulu) is 5 years old and super excited to be in her very first show at NSMT! SARA BAREILLES (Music & Lyrics) can now be seen starring in Tina Fey's Netflix series, GIRLS5EVA. Bareilles first achieved mainstream critical praise in 2007 with her widely successful hit "Love Song,” which reached No. 1 in 22 countries around the world from her debut album Little Voice. Since then, Sara has gone on to receive seven Grammy® nominations throughout her career, which include Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Love Song” and one Album of the Year for her highly acclaimed third studio album, The Blessed Unrest. Her book, Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) in Song, was released in the fall of 2015 by Simon & Schuster and is a New York Times best seller. Making her Broadway debut Sara composed the music and lyrics for Waitress, for which she received her first Tony® Award nomination for Best Score and a 2017 Grammy® Award nomination for Best Musical Theater Album. She also made her Broadway acting debut in 2017 by stepping into the lead role in Waitress. 2018 was a big year for Sara, she co-hosted the Tony Awards®, was nominated for an Emmy® and Grammy ® for her role in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert and was awarded with the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Hal David Starlight Award. Sara also teamed up with Apple as an executive producer for Little Voice, a 10-episode series, for which she created the original music. The 2022 Broadway Cast Album for Into the Woods is available for streaming, as is Amidst the Chaos: Live from the Hollywood Bowl for which she joined forces with legendary Academy Award-winning producer T Bone Burnett. Both live and studio albums spotlight her voice as a singer and storyteller like never before while making an enduring statement.

JESSIE NELSON (Book) wrote the musical Waitress with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles. The show played on Broadway for 4 years and moved to the West End in London. Sara and Jessie went on to create the show Little Voice which they Executive Produced with JJ Abrams for Apple TV. Jessie wrote, directed and produced Corrina Corrina and I Am Sam starring Sean Penn, who received an Academy Award nomination for his performance. Among her other directing credits are Curb Your Enthusiasm and Love, the Coopers with Diane Keaton. Her writing credits include Step Mom and The Story of Us . She produced Fred Claus and Danny Collins . In London, Jessie directed Alice By Heart which she co-wrote with Steven Sater with music by Duncan Sheik at the National Theater Connections Program and again at MCC in NYC. She began her career as an actress at the Public Theater working with the award-winning experimental theater Mabou Mines and at the New York Shakespeare Festival. She wrote the children's book Labracadabra. She has been the artistic Director of the Sundance ScreenWriters Lab.

KEVIN P. HILL (Director & Producing Artistic Director) began his theatrical career as dancer and actor, having appeared in the National Touring companies of Hello, Dolly! with Carol Channing, Leslie Uggams and Michele Lee, Anything Goes and the International Touring Company of A Chorus Line. Kevin has directed and choreographed more than 200 productions across America, including Titanic The Musical, Disney’s Frozen, Sunset Boulevard, Jersey Boys (‘19 & ‘24), The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol, Young Frankenstein, Mary Poppins, Sister Act, Mamma Mia!, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Grease and others. He has had the privilege of working with such stars as Alice Ripley, Marin Mazzie, Jeannette Bayardelle, Joanne Worley, Kathleen Turner, Josh Groban, Jonathan Groff and Tony Award winner, Cady Huffman. In New York, he was the assistant to the director of On the Twentieth Century at the New Amsterdam Theatre and assistant to the choreographer on the revival of Guys and Dolls. Kevin has been nominated as Best Director/Choreographer for his work on Sunset Boulevard, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Rent, The Full Monty, Chicago, and Edwin Drood, and was awarded the NH Theatre Award for Best Choreography for West Side Story at the Papermill Theatre. Kevin has also been awarded Six Broadway World awards and two Motif awards for his productions of Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins and Young Frankenstein. As a Professor of Dance, Kevin has been on faculty at Pennsylvania State University, Kansas State University and most recently The Boston Conservatory of Music. Kevin and his husband Matthew have created their own production company called, Chappell Hill Productions. Their first venture is co-producing the new Broadway musical Gun & Powder. Chappell Hill Productions is also the lead producer of a new medium of theatre called, Dance Night. Kevin is a proud member of SDC, AEA and a past member of Dance Masters of New England, Chapter 5. For a decade, he has held the role of Producing Artistic Director at North Shore Music Theatre and eleven years at Theatre By The Sea.

REBECCA GLICK (Costume Design) is thrilled to be stepping into a new role here at North Shore Music Theatre! A stitcher/dresser with NSMT for a few years, Rebecca has designed for many theatres and educational programs around Boston. Her recent designs include Laughs in Spanish (Speakeasy Stage Company), The Full Monty (Umbrella Stage Company), and Sweeney Todd (Moonbox Productions, Elliot Norton Nomination-Outstanding Costume Design). She is the recipient of the Thomas Derrah Emerging Artist Award for her Costume Design of POTUS. Rebecca's educational designs can be seen throughout the year on the stages of Framingham High School, Weston Drama Workshop, Greater Boston Stage Company, and NSMT. She is also the designer for Refine Dance Studio's annual production of The Nutty Suite.

ALEX BERG (Sound Design) is excited to return to North Shore Music Theatre! Alex is a freelance sound designer and mix engineer in the greater Boston area. Credits include shows at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston, ACT of Connecticut, Theatre by the Sea, Prescott Park Arts Festival, Barrington Stage Company, Kavinoky Theatre, and Shakespeare in Delaware Park. PAMELA HERSCH (Projection Design) is a Mexican-born visual artist inspired by organic movement, particularly among and within nature's colors, patterns, and textures. Her artistic practice aims to create perspective-shifting experiences to foster a sense of human connection and awareness of how we impact each other and the world around us. Her collaborations with producers, artists, non-profits, art galleries, museums, and commercial companies have produced creative visual content from projection mapping installations and photography to music videos and live show visuals. In 2024, Pamela started running Installation Space, an art exhibition venue on Historic Eagle Street in North Adams, Massachusetts, steps away from MASSMoCA, one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. Installation Space has partnered with the Walkaway House to expand its public-facing Center of Gravity artist residency program on Eagle Street. Previous work at NSMT includes Disney’s Frozen. DAKOTAH WILEY HORAN (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back having worked as the Assistant Stage Manager on the full 2016 – 2019, 2021-2024 Musical Seasons as well as the 2025 production of The Shark is Broken, 2015 productions of West Side Story, Spamalot and Singin’ In The Rain, as well as working as the Production Assistant for Mary Poppins and Funny Girl. Some of her previous Stage Management credits include: Capital Repertory Theatre: Betrayal, Marvelous Wonderettes, Cactus Flower, 33 Variations, Leslie Uggams in Uptown Downtown, Man of La Mancha, and Single Girls Guide. Pendragon Theatre: Clean House and Twelve Angry Men. She would like to thank her parents for instilling and encouraging her love of theatre, and to her friends and her North Shore family for always supporting her.

MARIA PAPADOPOULOS (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to return to NSMT after previously working on A Christmas Carol, Tootsie, Disney’s Frozen, and Fiddler on the Roof. Off-Broadway credits: Do Re Mi (ASM - J2 Spotlight Musical Theatre Company), Lucky Stiff (ASM - J2 Spot Musical Theatre Company), The Goodbye Girl (ASM - J2 Spotlight Musical Theatre Company), Sugar (ASM - J2 Spotlight Musical Theatre Company), and Women Of The Year(ASM - J2 Spotlight Musical Theatre Company). Select other credits include: Indecent (PSM - Weston Drama Workshops), Merrily We Roll Along (ASM - Weston Drama Workshops), POTUS (Sound Board Op - SpeakEasy Stage), A Case For The Existence of God (Sound Board Op - SpeakEasy Stage). BILL HANNEY (Owner/Producer) is honored and proud to have been responsible for the re-opening of the nationally renowned North Shore Music Theatre in 2010. Aside from his work operating North Shore Music Theatre, one of Bill's crowning achievements was the 2007 purchase and re-opening of Theatre By The Sea, a landmark 500 seat professional summer theatre and restaurant, which is entering its seventeenth successful year of operation in Matunuck, RI (theatrebythesea.com). Bill was a co-producer on the recent Broadway production of The Shark is Broken, and recently co-produced a New York City workshop of The SeaView Nursing Home for the Newly Deceased. Bill was an investor in the recent Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Pippin, as well as the First National Tour. Bill is currently expanding his group of live theatres. He began his career in show business at age 19, leasing and developing movie theaters, including his first multiplex in Quincy, Massachusetts. Before long, he was booking rock shows (Jefferson Starship, Rush) and other types of live entertainment, which eventually led to the presenting and producing of Broadway productions. One such show was an appearance by the legendary mime artist, Marcel Marceau. As president of Broadway Productions, Bill presented national tours such as Annie, Amadeus, Dancin', Peter Pan, The Rocky Horror Show and Mark Twain starring Hal Holbrook, throughout New England including Worcester, Springfield, Portland, Maine and Boston. Throughout his career, Bill has stayed focused on his movie theatre chain having bought, built, owned, operated, and sold more than 30 cinemas. His company, Entertainment Cinemas, currently operates six movie complexes in three states. Bill is currently Chairman of the Board of the Theatre Owners of New England. Bill has been named to the North Shore Top 100 by the North Shore Chamber of Commerce. He received the Leslie S. Ray Hall of Fame Award (2015) and Businessperson of the Year Award (2012) from the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce, as well as Businessperson of the Year from the Salem Chamber of Commerce (2011).

MATTHEW CHAPPELL (Associate Producer & Casting Director) is in his 6th season as resident Casting Director and Associate Producer for Bill Hanney’s North Shore Music Theatre and resident Casting Director for Theatre By The Sea. He is a former talent agent, casting associate, and photographer for Heyman Talent Agency, specializing in TV/film, commercials, runway, print and voiceovers and, for many years, worked as Associate Producer for Encore International, casting and producing shows for theme parks, cruise ships, and corporate events. Prior to making the leap to Casting and Producing, Matthew enjoyed a 20+ year career as a professional Actor/Singer/Dancer.

NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATRE (NSMT) Since 1955, NSMT has become one of the most attended theatres in New England, with approximately 250,000 patrons annually. With a national and regional reputation for artistic achievement, NSMT has received numerous industry awards including Elliot Norton Awards, IRNE Awards, the Rosetta Le Noire Award from Actors’ Equity, and the Moss Hart Award. NSMT produced the World Premiere of Memphis in 2003, the show went on to win four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Under the new ownership of Bill Hanney in 2010, NSMT continues to annually produce a musical subscription series and an annual production of A Christmas Carol along with celebrity concerts, children’s programming, and year-round education programs for all ages.
